- ★ ★ ☆ ☆ ☆This place is an aladins cave of handy stuff. Everything you need and all is far cheaper than the big stores (homebase etc.). Its especially good for fixings, nuts ,bolts, hooks, screws and things as you can buy them individually for pence. A 10 pack of sanding sheets for my handsander was £7 in homebase. When I went here it was £1.10. There is the same kind of price difference when it comes to most consumables. The staff are also really knowledgable and helpful when you tell them what you need to achieve. I cant recomend this shop enough when it comes to DIY. Its a local shop run by local people and has been around for ages. I hope it continues to do well for a long time to come and I think it will as it is always full of people.
